It is only through the process demonstrated by Murray that this conflict can have an ending which leaves Americans more secure. What is going on now has left Americans in peril throughout much of the world.

Y'know, the Mafia enjoyed considerable popularity in many neighborhoods because it offered a realistic way to resolve differences, EVEN THOUGH OVERALL IT IS A DESPICABLE ORGANIZATION.

It doesn't hurt to understand that.

Hitler took a country in the midst of a profound economic depression and brought what looked like prosperity. His repressive laws didn't touch most people, and so were popular. Sound familiar? He was appreciated by most Germans.

AND HE WAS A DESPICABLE SON-OF-A-BITCH. And he had some attractions for many people.

It would behoove us to understand the attraction OBL has, all of our enemies.
