Okay, but...

Good post. Was particularly interested in seeing how the market accommodated Muslim religious beliefs. There are answers to a lot of these questions.

As for the rest, and Bowser's post, my main point was not so much whether or not Murray is actually calling for seeing how the rest of the world thinks, or whether this is a good idea or not.

My main point is that she is getting a complete pass by the powers that be for making a statement which--whether she meant it that way or not--sounded very much like approval for a foul political system that ruthlessly and murderously oppresses its people. And this while the media and politicians are shoveling dirt onto Lott's dead political face for making a statement--whether he meant it that way or not--that sounded very much like approval for a foul political system that ruthlessly and murderously oppressed people.

This has been the pattern, largely fueled by the fact that for all intents and purposes the Democrats run the mainstream media. I could go into other examples of bias, including the fact that the objections to Murray are written as though only the Republican Party objects, ignoring a groundswell of public indignation, while the Lott affair was treated in the press as though the general public and black groups were the source of all the objections, while the Democratic Party was just sitting on its hands as an observer.

Is my point really that hard to get? Or is everyone deliberately evading it?
