Support of Shah, Saddam (once upon a time), Marcos, Pinochet, Saudis, Contras
Supporter/instigator/inflagator in several conflicts - most of SE Asia, Middle East, Latin America.
The US foreign record is not all sweetness and light.
There are those whose blinkers only see the light, those who only see the dark.
And those of us who see that on balance the US has been more beneficial than malignant, yet also have the ability to see why others may not see it that way.....
