Another Perspective (a better one)
American soldiers CAN bring freedom.
They can also bring death and dstruction with illegal wars and failed policies.
We were RIGHT to go into Germany.
Without question, the liberation of those from the yoke of Naziism was one of THE finest hours for American history.
However Tom, equating this double agent's story (and her patriotism) has very little to do with WHAT we are doing in Iraq, under the "guise" of freeing the Iraqi people (good sound byte=patriotism).
Thsi article here is excellent....and moving.
