I was talking about per capita charitable donations. You may have had a prior discussion with someone else about whatever it is you are going on about. But I did *not* raise your (aparently favorite) topic of foreign aid. Sorry.
And anyway, it's a bogus digretion. I was just throwing up a list of ways that your columnist might be wrong. Really there's no need to refute each one.
