John Connolly the head of "Manned Mars Research" is a MS steering committee member and past conference participant. I'm sure you've heard of Chris McKAy, James Oberg (a real space journalist), Peter Smith, and Everett Gibson as well.

Off course, simplistic overviews, pure speculation, and nutcases such as Levin and DiGregorio are also allowed to present in a democratric freedom of speech spirit. The convention is not a refereed forum and participants should keep their scientific skeptical caps on (especially when listening to Tumlinson).
