Re: ISS
<I'm a rabid space fanatic but could care less about ISS. Most of what they're doing in terms of aerospace hardware with ISS was done with MIR and Skylab. There's nothing new here.
I do wish Mir did not have to come down, we coudl have at least had quantity, if not something new.
To make matters worse, the "fig leaf" concerning science on ISS dropped away when they limited the crew size to 3 people.
perhaps I am being Naive, prefering to think of polititians as shrew rather that incompetent. But I thught that the move to bring the livable space down to 7 as a move to try to get other countries to fit more of thebill.
Did Itally ever modify node three to take care of the extra four people?!
