Sumerian astronomy left a lot to be desired. With the absence of telescopes and a limited geographical base to conduct observation - planet X is at best a far-fetched hypothesis with little or no real evidence to back it up.
Any site which can plot the orbit of a planet it can not image or demonstrate the perturbations of other planets to give evidence to this plotted orbit seems to illustrate best-guessing or pure fabrication.
Besides, the Sumerians aren't a catchy group. Now if you create a website that says Akhenaten (Follower of the Sun) had built a special observatory in his new capital built in ancient egypt and tied in the pyramids somehow - that would have more 'sell'. You could also throw in a few images of young Egyptian dancing girls in the buff with scented wax dripping down their heads and get away with it.
This would have more sell and Planet X might get rolling. Also, forget the earth collision bit and the moon, "northwind".
If one can't prove a planet existed - it is even more preposterous to presuppose the planets moon(s) or lack thereof.
My suggestion, is make planet X a 'rogue planet' out of the solar system which never comes anywhere near earth - but is earthlike and roams in an orbit 300 million miles beyond Pluto.
Now weave the Egyptian folklore and get a picture of the goddess 'nut' (which always looks cool) and pretend one of those lights painted on her tummy was the Planet X.
This would be much cooler than Sumerian artifacts.
Now you'll lose the 'return of christ' symbology since it wont be returning and you'll lose the 'latter days' and armageddon bit too. However, your tale will last much longer and can be revived every other decade or so without too much data gathered to refute it.
Worse case scenario is if the solar system is filled with probes which show no planet X exists - you can say that it broke free of the solar system and has been left behind somewhere in the galaxy.
Doesn't that sound like a better proposition? It certainly does to me.
Good luck!

PS
I just thought of something else you may want to add: Scarab Beetles.
Scarab Beetles always look cool and as the symbol of eternal life you may want to weave them into the mythology of Planet X.
