you'd learn how scientists actually come up with working theories about planetary formation. For example, here's a good article describing a leading theory about how the moon formed following the collision of a Mars-sized object with the Earth several billion years ago. It's called SCIENCE. You might try it sometime, especially before demonstrating your lack of knowledge.
