The non-wacko environmentalists
There are obviously many people who call themselves "environmentalists" who don't fall into the "wacko" category, and are honestly concerned about the environment. They're the ones out scrubbing birds until their hands are raw, or picking trash from a creek, or planting trees, or writing letters to Congressmen. You don't see them much. The wackos hang out in Washington at Congressmen's parties, at radical universities, or in media centers. And you see way too much of them.
