Thoughts on why spiral galaxy NGC 4622 has a "reverse" spin.

I'm sure you guys and gals have seen this story but I was curious about your thoughts on the reasons why this galaxies outer arms point in the same direction as its rotation.
I'm still researching/thinking/scratching my head about this one.
I know that it is thought the arms form as a result of "density waves" that "sweep" through the galactic disk but.... like I said it just doesn't make sense.
We still have much to learn about the wild and crazy universe we live in.
