The answer is still polarity relationship of the galaxy and surrounding space.

Its good you brought up this point because it actually is another proof of AVT, which states that the galaxies are all formed by energy from outside our spectra.

You see the fact that it spins opposite to the arms direction is proof that surrounding space does not form these galaxy arms - but that they are formed independently of space.

Heres a better example....

Imagine a pinwheel - it is fixed in shape and not formed by the wind that spins it.

In this case the galaxy is formed by these energy flows and the direction it spins is determined by the magnetic interaction between the surrounding space and these polarized energy flows.

I will get into a technical description, as my short answers leave people guessing if I am just as Tom might say, "pulling it out of my ---".

Like Delbert's links above regarding the Coriolis effect - which even the badastronomy people don't really understand, this action is much more complex than simple rotation. The links point out that the rotation of the earth is not significant enough to influence the flow of a small movement of water - but only large movements. This is a half-truth.

Here is the real technical deal:

Each molecule containing atoms of more than one element are polar molecules. In other words they have a positive and negative pole and a permanent electric dipole moment.

This means, also, that these molecules motions are now able to be influenced by strong polar energy movements and themselves have a much stronger molecular attraction and cohesiveness.

The molecules which are formed first in space and then receive a polar charge will be "pushed" in opposition to a similar charge and "pulled" to the opposing charge.

So imagine a "cosmic wind" if you will which comprises the space in an area where a galaxy is forming. This cosmic wind is made up of countless waveforms or radiation.

Well, waves are often polarized and electromagnetic radiation is polarized when it has been scattered.

Scattering is what occurs when radiation passes through any medium. In this case, the radiation passes through these gaseous clouds of molecules.

So the cosmic wind passes through these clouds and more and more radiation is scattered and polarized.

Here is where it gets good...

Electromagnetic radiation comprise fields which accelerate charged particles.

So the interaction between the cosmic wind and the polar molecules will start to speed up the motion of these molecules and they will bind tighter and tighter together, drawing nearby molecules.

So the arms of a galaxy are now reacting to the cosmic wind and the cosmic wind in the region itself is being polarized by its interaction with the molecules.

The arms shape is formed by the incoming flow from these other spectra which also formed the molecules - and the arms rotation and acceleration in space is caused by the interaction between the surrounding cosmic wind and the arms.

This is just another bit of evidence that illustrates galaxy shapes are NOT caused by the space around it or by some big bang 'spinning' them around in a cosmic burst.

This polarity interaction between molecules and radiation is how galaxies are really formed and how matter condenses into stars, planets and what have you.

The galaxy really starts cooking when these single atoms bond together with other atoms and so become polarized.

This sets off a chain reaction of events which keep creating polarized flows of greater and greater intensity. The arms after sufficient polarization suddenly condense further and form stars along their strongest magnetic parallaxes.

These stars do the same thing in orbits around them - condensing and polarizing molecules and eventually forming planets.

Even the planets, once polarized create a charge and they influence smaller bodies in their field's sphere of influence.

The planets rotation, orbit, etc....all determined by these field interactions which are so finely balanced.

Incidentally, the water flows the other way in the toilet not because of planet rotation - but rather because the polar molecules are interfacing with an opposite polarity! It's NOT the planet's rotation that influences each H2O molecule - it's the charge of the magnetic field!!!!!

Yes, some toilets might rotate the same way but that would be due to bowl shape, etc. A pure bowl will ALWAYS be draining opposite. It would have to be removed from the earth's magnetic field to do otherwise!

You may ask why didn't badastronomy folks and others figure that out? Well...some scientists 'think' while other folks are busy with 'critiques' ;-)
