For reasons I cannot explain I read you as saying the tail was moving 400 _million_ kilometers per second- which would be 4*10^8 m/s wheras the speed of light is ~3*10^8 m/s... but you said 400 km/s which is only 4*10^5 m/s.
you did NOT violate causality and my criticism of you on that point was unwarrented...
