<Alright I will, Take a garden hose and squirt water straight out. Then move the hose left or right, it appears that the water is moving in an arc, when in fact the actual water molecules are moving in a straight line.

When will you get it through your small brain that conditions on Earth are not the same as in space? You still did NOT address the fact that you arent going to have the ice crystals you need, or the fact that the emission lines are concentrated in the coma and tail... but you cant, because to do so would reveal even more clearly that you have NO idea what you are talking about....

Now move your damn Ion trail in an arc around the sun with the length of the plasma if that is what it is at 10 million kilometers. It takes time for anything to move 10 million killometers of space. Even at the speed of the over rated solar wind at 300 to 400 kilometers per second it takes at least 5 hours to move that far but the tail does not appear to have the requisit arc. Therefore it is an aparition, not an observable reaction.

Ummm you apparently do not even know what the speed of light is.... I do not think ANYONE has claimed that the ions in the tail moves faster than light... 4*10^8 m/s is faster than light... did you know that Danny?

I state it again, an Ion creating effect can not occur in a vacuume, you need a gas at sufficient density and a triggering event to strip the gas molecule down to an Ion.

You can also blast the Ions into space, but that is not a plasma, it is just an Ion stream and it does not qualify as a plasma effect by any definition I use and the mear presence of the ions means it is not a vacuume any longer.

It is spelled vacuum, and it doesnt matter what you call it -the ions recombine with electrons and emit photons that scream that you are a moron... you are a sad example of a fool that cannot escape from his delusion....

I too work with plasma on a daily basis. The plasma displays I repair use plasma to display the image I am looking at as I type this. The plasma torch I use in my shop is a plasma. I don't see any way to generate a plasma in a near perfect void. There is nothing there to create the reaction.

You are correct, I don't understand a lot of things, that is why I speculate, and investigate. I don't take anything as fact until I understand it. Something you will not likely ever be able to do.
