And what if Life was found on the spot, with absolute certainty and without having to return anything to earth?
If there are people opposing the return, later on, of Mars life samples, then the scientific community could have good points to argue against those opponents. If the later win their case, then the whole world would wonder what happened to scientific curiosity.
