I really enjoy watching every one here, including even the most die-hard manned Mars "enthusiasts" advocate that NASA immediately greatly increase its spending on this very severe problem. I am looking forward to immediate congressional action sometime in the first half of 2003, ana let's all hope that dealing with some of the more immediate hazards does not cause too much of a delay in dealing with this one.
As for facilities based on the Moon, yep, we can do it; yep, the price is far far less than the cost of manned Mars flight; yep, the benefits are far far greater than those of manned Mars flight;
