I'm confirming it but not exclusively. A photon of a certain wavelength, lambda also has a certain frequency equal to (the speed of light / lambda). The energy of that photon is then Planck's constant times the frequency. E = hf
A photon of some wavelength has specific frequency and photon energy.
In terms of how to look at the EM continuum, thats up to you.... Big energy, fast oscillation, small wavelength, it's all the same thing.
