Larry, I'm interested in knowing what are the conditions of Moon ices so I'm for robotic exploration by NASA or some government body of these shadowed areas of the Moon.

But, I'm opposed to hyping it as a needed step before manned exploration of Mars. Right now it is my opinion that all testing and building of equipment for Mars exploration can be done in LEO.
