The Antarctic Hole was discovered in IGY1 in 1957

Long before freon could have been the problem.
The hole opens in Antarctic winter because of the lack of sunlight to create ozone.
It closes every summer when sunlight returns.
If that was considered to be the proof of freon links to ozone destruciton, then science and scientists and the politicians have played us for fools.
