That could be because the noble corporations being sued are usually in the buisness of profiting from some form of chemical malfeasance while throwing up a legal flak to keep it going.

Greenpeace ain't a for profit organization. And last time I checked, promoting laws that still have to be passed by someone (even those you don't like) isn't an actionable activity.
