You realize they will have to get rid of the coins, since when the socialists eventually take over the EU, only paper money will be light enough to haul in a wheelbarrow to buy bread.
Okay, a cheap shot. Socialists actually didn't do that well in the last European Parliament elections, but they're patient, and they finally have a chance to get what Hitler never could: all of Europe under one thumb.
By the way, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union reads pretty good. Lots of stuff similar to our Bill of Rights, although a few clinkers like the right to free health care are tossed in there.
We'll see what happens.
