Sacajawea dollar
IMHO the Sacajawea coin failed like the Susan B Anthony because it felt like a quarter (the 20 cent coin failed in the 19th century for the same reason). If the dollar coin was thickened like the French 10 franc coin with the same gold color then it would be successful. Also it's better to have significant historical figures (rather than politically correct ones) on the one dollar coin. Harry S. Truman or Woodrow Wilson should be honored with coins. I would like to see a coin with L.B.J. on the obverse and the Apollo LM on the reverse. L.B.J should be honored for his contribution to the Space Program even if he did make a mess out of Vietnam.
