I remember as a kid listening to my brother musing on what the future of currency will be as a littel kid, and one thing he talked a lot about what the we will someday have "MU" (Monetary Unit) cards that we swipe through something and pay fo it via that.
I though what a wild yet likely idea that might be sorta far off, but by the time I had a bank acocunt of my own I HAD one, and though how neat it was. I didn't have to use cash or carry around coins, my bank provided me with this niftly little visa sponsored debit card that drew direclty from my bank account. The future unfolding in fron t of my eyes. . . amazing. . .
anyway I see who ever puts out the proton card out went a step further and given out a proton card that has a littel extra barrier between the card and your bank account. that way anyone who gets your card can't wipe you out. . . then again I have a pin number that I must enter to use my MU, ahem, 'debit' card. If someone takes my debit card about all they can get with it is gas unless they can figure out my pin number. . . .
is your proton card government or private sponsored?
