Every time I use the word "left" I have to redefine it to a large number of people who apparently have never heard the term before or have a long-term memory problem.
Look for posts along the lines of, "left-of-centre? What does that mean? How can you tell? What gives you the right to decide someone is 'left-of-centre?'"
