The "Well, Duh" was to be applied to the "there seems to be a sliding scale of liberals".
Larry, my belief is that the political spectrum is a bell curve, centred right around the middle.
The central axis skews slight left or slight right depending on prevailing conditions, manifesting itself in the results of general elections.
There are a few complete fanatical idiots on either end.........
Trouble is, I'm rapidly getting the impression that many Americans think there are 2 bell curves - one on the left, one and the right and absolutley no-one in the middle.
