Since Iraq probably supported the operation, your question, 'What in the hell happens to the bad guys in a James Bond movie after the bad guy is defeated?' deserves consideration.

After bin Laden is captured or killed, what then?

Then, or possibly before then, whatever bin Laden's 'biggest gun' is in his arsenal may well be brought forward. If it's a suitcase nuke, then it may go off in a large American coastal city. If it's biological or chemical, it may end up poisoning Cleveland or Chicago, or - for all we can know - much of the Great Lakes. America's worst-case scenario remains a possibility, and becomes more likely as bin Laden approaches his own version of the worst-case scenario.

Then what happens?

Whatever we've seen to date, and are about to see in the coming months or years, would pale by comparison. If the coming war is to be 'unlike any previous war,' the sequel might be more familiar, as well as more destructive.

This is one person who is hoping the sequel is more like 'Never Say Never Again' than 'The Day After.'
