I've looked over the Ballard site in some detail. A lot of info on pure hydrogen fuel cells. Not much detail on the hydrocarbon-using cells. I'm still not clear how they crack hydrogen from hydrocarbons, and where the excess carbon would wind up (it comes out as CO2 in an ideal internal combustion engine).
