I don't understand what the problem is

He doesn't denounce the attacks, saying "They (the Americans and the British) know more about these things than I do,".

He calls for long term solutions: "The way to defeat terrorism in the long run is through thought, argument and reasoning." What's to argue with there? If we simply beat "the enemy" into submission, we aren't really solving any long term problems. I think a strong military response was and is necessary in this situation, but I don't know of anyone who is proposing that this will cure terrorism by itself.

This guy won the Nobel Peace Prize. What have YOU done for world peace?
