In the best of times, the Palestinians are living with an occupation army, the Israelis. They control travel, work, many areas of Palestinian life, and they aren't kind about it. Under those conditions I think anyone, maybe not you, but me for sure, would get fed up after a while. To show how unfair it is to have an army controlling civilians, look at the following statistics.
<Thus, as the Times analysis notes, the ratio of Israelis to Palestinians killed in the first intifada was 1 to 25. In this round, the ratio is about 1 to 3. And it is narrowing still. These new mathematics of death have put Israel on the defensive and in a position that Israel’s government cannot allow to long continue.>
Israeli-Palestinian death ratios
Clearly the Palestinians are doing this for a reason. You and I may not agree with it, and it is a reason.
Another thing which is forgotten is that Israel was born as the result of terrorism. Menachem Begin was car bombing the British. Without endorsing any or all terrorism, it's often the only tactic available to an oppressed civilian minority.
