What about a robust NATO deployment, a la Kosovo?

Not a bunch of do-nothing UN blue helmets (not their fault, btw) but a tough NATO force armed to the teeth, with carte blanche to blow away any terrorists who threaten the peace and security. Would that have any chance of working in a buffer zone between a Palestinian state in the current territories and Israel proper?

I dunno...just throwing out crazy ideas...
