You know you are right on the same page with Sean Hanitty who has been shreiking the same thing for a week.

I do think that your dislike of GWB is effecting your perception. I heard him urge the IDF to withdraw. I did not hear him demand. I heard him crucify Arrafat and Hammas.

I am aware that he could have had Powell there in 24 hours and he chose to delay for over a week. I see Israel proceeding as they see fit so far.

I agree that he has been equivocal but that is often the way of diplomacy and the reason I could never be a diplomat.

We are faced with a situation that could easily escalate to genocide. If there was ever an excuse for equivocation this might be the time.

Personally, I do not have a clue as to how we can solve this but I don't think we will "sell out" Israel.

Incidentally, I heard a radical right opinion recently that said that as a reborn Christian, GWB can never abandon Israel because there are some scriptures that require him to protect the Jews. Something to do with any nations that abandons them will be cursed. Frankly that was a new one on me.
