Right on on Israel, not so sure about Taiwan.
But you are very perceptive about the possibilities of internal collapse in China, Inc. I think China is much more precarious than they want us to think.
I have a book that I picked up for pennies about 12 years ago.
It is called, The Sun Also Sets and is about Japan's unsustainable economy.
I think you could easily see the same problems in the next few years in China.
