I don't think you understand how isolated the US is right now in its tolerance of Sharon's activities.

While earlier attempts to mount economic embargos on Israel were frsutrated, the chances of these nations being able ot mount an economic embargo against Israel are pretty good, and their chances of being able to mount a secondary embargo are pretty good as well.

I don't think that they would support attacks against the US. But you have ot remember that bin Laden's group, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, is only one group, and a very small one at that. There are others which are known, and the possiblity also exists that there are NGOs which are not known.
