ADM
<ADM is the poster boy for true corporate welfare, that is, the funneling of money from other taxpayers into their pockets due to their influence with the government. Examples include farm subsidies absorbed by them directly and indirectly. They also use government power to cripple potential competition, like the sugar tariffs which help keep ADM's corn syrup in the catbird seat of American sweeteners. The current mandate on putting ethanol into gas is only their latest.
Some people try to squeeze tax cuts (allowing a corporation to keep more of their earnings) into the category of "corporate welfare," but most reasonable people can see the difference.
