These bombs are apparently identical in design, and are appearing in short order from Illinois to Texas. Either there is more than one person involved in a coordinated effort, or one guy is driving around the country like an Indy racer.
Most mailboxes are checked almost daily, so if you find a bomb, it probably was put there since the previous day's delivery. This nails down delivery time pretty tight. Given that, and the widespread locations of all the bombs, it shouldn't be too hard for the cops to figure out exactly where this guy has been driving and maybe even which roads.
