"he has bought into the pro-union, anti-capitalistic crap that is spread by the United Auto Workers and/or United Food Workers Unions"
How did you get that? Might be right, I'm curious to know how.
My guess is he's probably not "union". He's complaining about powerlessness, clearly is a loner. There's a schizoid quality to his letter, may have had difficulties working with other people for longer periods of time. His remarks about killing one famous person, along with the rest of his letter indicate difficulties closely relating to people, a problem all bombers seem to have.
His remarks about death may indicate a superficial interest in Eastern religions.
"The fact that he also attacks the government is either a ruse,"
Again, why wouldn't you believe the main point of his letter is the government disregarding him, and his subsequent sense of helplessness?
"(He could be from south of the border.) The fact that he has made his way toward Texas in the most recent bombing could indicate that this is his swan song before returning to Mexico."
Is there something besides heading into Texas which leads you to believe he is Latino?
I don't know of Latino bombers. The drug folks, and some political people will act out that way, don't know of Latino individuals doing that. More likely to shoot someone.
In my experience most bombers are European or North American. The syntax of the letters doesn't seem to me, not a linguist, to be that of a person with Spanish as the language with which they grew up.
"In summary, "Scott the Profiler" says that he is a moderatly intellegent Immigrent who's Green Card just ran out and could not be renewed so he lost his low skill, low paying job at IBP in Joslin,"
Would agree with some of that. Again, curious to know the "moderatly intellegent" part. Would seem to be smarter than that, though not a Unabomber. His English is very, very good, vocabulary excellent, and spelling better than that of many people who were raised in the US. No trace of "ebonics".
His English is good enough that one would think he would have had no problem figuring out the system and obtaining citizenship if he wanted it.
Seems well educated, might be self-taught, may have had counselling in the past.
(By the way, a friend of mine got a Ph. D. in Math at Berkeley at the same time Kaczynski did. My friend, now a surgeon, said that he, my friend, could connect the dots and do the work but that Kacsynski was brilliant, and sometimes you couldn't see how Kaczynski made the associations to do what he did, but it worked.)
Enough of this for now. Curious to know what the clues are to some of your stuff, though.
