And that's why I'm not an FBI profiler.
If he is pro-union like I think, then maybe he feels powerless because he just lost his job. Maybe the FBI should look at Union shops that have recently closed or are about to close in the Midwest. There are more than a few of those. I used to work at one (I was in management, not the union). I saw many rambling statements like this posted on the union message board by the union leaders who seemed to believe they had the system "all gamed out". The plant was sold to another company and promptly closed because no one at the new company wanted to deal with the Union. Luckily, I left before the company was sold: I saw the writing on the wall. The union refused to work. They deliberatly slowed down production to the point where operating the plant at a profit was impossible. Now they are out of work, and probably still as beligerant as ever. They complained about the loss of union jobs, and at the same time they cut their production to the point where there was no alternative to closing the union plant.
With that in mind, the bomber might in fact be several angry unemployed union workers who are acting together to spread out the mayhem. Union brothers, united in the cause...
My thoughts on his being Latino relate to the fact that a lot of Latinos are recruited to come and work in the poor paying packing industry that is located in the upper Mid-West. The IBP plant in Joslin, IL has had some well-publicized problems with illegal immigrants working there in the past. It is my understanding that the same is true in Nebraska and Colorado although I am not as familiar with those areas. The bombings appear to be moving westward and southward pattern.
It’s all a guess. And in truth, the guy is probably a white who is divorced and has to pay huge sums of back child support that makes him angry at the government... (So as you see, you could go a lot of directions with the profile.
On the religion issue, I think you may be correct. He definitely has some sort of fixation on death not being the end of things. Maybe a recently born-again Christian although I hate to bring that up: They always seem to get blamed for this type of crap.
Scott (Shucks I'm rambling again)
