I know I don't have to post a link to this story, but here it is anyway.
I've read some of what there is about this in the mainstream press, and I'm a little mystified as to how relatively vague rumors of terrorist activity--which are apparently in constant circulation--could have tipped anyone as to the specifics of 9/11.
I wish with all my heart that someone had put it all together, figured it out and stopped it from ever happening...but history took another path.
Sure, let's learn what we can and make improvements where possible, but the blame game just isn't on. It's counter-productive, self-destructive and can only result in harm to men and women who did the best they could--and probably very nearly the best that could be done-- but were blindsided by the unpredictability of fanatics.
