Hitler was one who would kill the messengers, and so only heard what he wanted to, not what the reality was.
I can't believe you're suggesting Bush should join him, and make similar disastrous decisions. Can't read it any differently, though.
That sort of thing usually results in foolish plans, and a lot of innocent people dead. It's usually considered better form to plan based on reality rather than political prejudices.
