30 years ago, my parents had among the American families living in Antwerp a good friend who owned a collection of guns. One day, his son invited friends at home while the parents were gone.
When they returned back, they found their son dead, in a room, near one of the father's guns.
It's totally uncertain whether he was shot accidentally by a friend or committed suicide.
Needless to say, the father felt extremely guilty about this.
With gun control, these accidents will at least have fewer chances of occuring.
