Are you saying that resistance was incorrect under the Nazis and it would have been better to perhaps let the thousand year reich run it's course of a thousand years without internal resistance?

It sounds like you are saying it is the job of other nations to police despotic governments while the subjects of the tyranny should quietly submit and wait to be rescued.

Regarding Waco, on the one hand you could argue that this was gun control in action and out of control. If the Branch Davidians had been left alone they might have never been a problem and there would have been no Oklahoma City incident.

On the other hand, as a sect of criminal crazies they and McVeigh probably would have been a problem. Neither the gun laws they had already stretched or any other laws would have prevented them from obtaining guns illegally.

It seems to me that gun control does not apply when you are dealing with criminal elements or lunatics.
