Re: And More . . .

<If you are correct, and Israel is Judaism, Sharon is a religious leader, a super rabbi, the spiritual head of all Israel.

You know and I know that's not true. Any religion which would accept him as a religious leader would also accept other war criminals as leaders.

Sharon is the political leader of a sovereign, secular state with Judaism as the state religion.

In a religious war, there can be no war crimes. The restraint showed by Israel in its battles with Hamas forces is purely political. All it would take to change this is a determined man at the helm. If your god tells you to kill all west coast blondes and you refuse, what happens to your soul? If a god tells the leader of one nation to decimate a neighboring state, who is this puny human to disobey?

It’s far too twisted for a logical mind to say, “But -- that’s not right...” because a god said that it was right.

There has been a consistent propaganda campaign in the US that to criticize Israel is to criticize Judaism. Not true, but some folks believe it.

It would be for the faction of Judaism that believes Israel should exist today. It’s a very firm, very religious belief.

Second. Most people without military experience could solve this military exercise.

Two opposing forces.

The Blue nation is equipped with armor, helicopters, artillery, fighter jets.

The Green forces have some explosives and AK-47s.

The Blues can invade the territory of the Greens at will, and inflict up to 75 to one casualties (Nablus).

The Greens can manage the occasional suicide bomber, cannot successfully resist an invasion of their homeland.

The Blues can arrest citizens of the other at will, detain them without explanation for as long as they want.

The Greens cannot resist having their citizens arrested and detained.

Now, you tell me which is trying to get rid of the other. Can the Greens drive the Blues into the sea? Even think about it realistically?

If these are the only two nations in the world, the Blues would easily win, and much faster than the 50+ years this has been going on. The “real world” supplies morals to the battlefield, as well as weapons, troops and funds to “both” sides.

You are the one telling me the Palestinians are trying to drive every Israeli, presumably the Arabs and Christians too, into the sea.

No. I said they want them dead.

Any strategies for that? Any at all? A people who cannot effectively defend themselves even a little bit is trying to drive the people from whom they can't defend themselves into the sea. How?

Politics makes strange bedfellows, and this is the rout Palestine takes again and again. If this were not true, Palestine would not exist today.
