Unorganized data
<Handing an investigating committee, or person, a mass of uncorrelated data is a classic way to avoid anyone finding out what happened.
"uncorrelated" is exactly the way the data arrives at the security agencies, too. I've got no objections to the investigations, as long as they don't turn into political witch hunts (a common problem with both parties.) Just getting a bit tired of all the Monday morning quarterbacking from people with no experience in this field. It isn't as easy to "connect the dots" as everyone seems to think.
