Do we REALLY want a highly-efficient security force, a combined CIA and FBI that misses nothing, drops no files behind the desk, and covers all the bases without exception?
Be careful what you wish for.

BTW, can't help noticing that a lof of the people screaming for the FBI to "do something" seem to be the same ones currently having a cow because the DOJ is going to be closely checking out non-citizens from known terrorist nations.
The people complaining about "profiling" are missing the point. Profiling means assigning a likely description to those you are looking for based on logic, experience, and previous crimes. It is asinine to assign the same level of suspicion to a little old lady in a wheelchair and a young Middle Eastern man with a visa from Iraq.
If a policeman hunting for a lynch mob of Ku Klux Klan members insisted that his police lineups include at least 15 percent black "suspects" so as not to show racial "profiling," he would be derided as a lunatic.
