Pure, unadulterated raw greed by unrestrained capitalists, watched over by their Boards of Directors, did these things.
All by themselves.
Screwed over their employees. Badly.
Really hosed the stockholders, very badly.
All alone. The executives came up with the ideas, and the Boards went along with them. Including the loans, salaries, stock options, jets, and so on. All by themselves. Without the government interfereing, without a Union bargaining away, all by themselves.
And you somehow see a liberal plot.
Doesn't that worry you just a little bit?
