This is where the money goes. The unfunded mandates, tens of trillions of dollars, the benefits, the credits. The social spending.
It's all down in black and white in the government budget documents I've linked to a dozen times. Years of government handing out money it didn't have to buy votes.
It isn't "the bosses" looting the economy. It isn't conservative ideas that deified the Welfare State, and created obligations we will never meet.
Your side did this. Yours.
FDR, Johnson, and every Democrat who believed that wealth redistribution is the highest virtue of a society. Who still believe that a majority of a nation can live off the taxpayer.
And the answer we're given from Democrats now? More of the same. More checks. More government payouts. "Free" health care. "Free" education. "Free" college. "Free" food, transportation, and anything else the happy voters might want.
All paid for by taxing the rich another $15 billion a year.
Everything in your post is wrong, and part of you knows it. It's why I make you crazy.

You just need to look at historical spending patterns to know what created these deficits and the debt.

- EDITED: I'd be interested in your definition of "Trotskyite," since nobody as yet seems to have developed a consistent or sensible one.
