Would it be terribly difficult to modify an anti-sat payload on one of Orbital's air dropped launch systems?
All it would need to do is rendezvous in orbit with the spy satellite and then give it a not-so gentle nudge to send it spinning uncontrollably toward earth. I would think that you could launch such a system on any number of launch vehicles, but orbital’s air-drop system seems the most flexible for this application…
Then there are always high-energy lasers…On orbit, in a plane, or on the ground…If you can aim and target them that far…
I think there are many ways we could blind our enemies if we set our minds to it and elect creative leaders who put national defense as a priority.
