Saddam receives these reports in his bunker and laughs his behind off. His two greatest allies are the German Chancellor and now an ex-President. One is busy preparing for re-election and protecting the very lucrative business Germany does with tyrants, and the other is as clueless today as he was pre 9-11 regarding the intentions of the muslim fanatics or insuring Americans safety.
I suggest if he wants to be constructive he can go to the middle east and build modern housing for the Palestinians, so that they will have one less thing to whine about. (Though I just don't know where the Saudis 40 million YEARLY donation to the PLO goes that they can't elevate the region out of the slum level and build a few decent schools to get their literacy rate up.
Bush has made up his mind though...and this divisive rhetoric is now just the typical left's practice of aiding and abetting our sworn enemy by talk of appeasement and containment.
Some folks never learn.
