Stopping that first plane would have required an immediate, brilliant, error-free response by our people, and some very tough decisions.
Not impossible, but admittedly extremely difficult. Still, IF everything had been done by the book - which it was not -
I think we would have had a fighting chance.
After that, in my opinion, we should have been able to stop them all.
