There were about 200 leftist freaks protesting his visit.
You wouldn't believe the "proper" titles some of them had on their protest signs...
I even saw one on the news broadcast of the event that proudly proclaimed:
"Bush Sucks! No war with Iraq".
The far left... Very diplomatic... Very mature... Very open to reasoned discourse...
Glad to say that the UAW audience he spoke to a local manufacturing company was very gracious and impressed with what Bush had to say. Several friends and acquaintances were in the audience and said they couldn't find anyone there who wasn't impressed with Bush or with the content of his speach.
Meanwhile, the protesters, who were supposedly also union members were on the outside...Wetting their pants because they couldn't stand that Bush would have the nerve to walk into a union stronghold and campaign for votes and raise money...From the looks of the protesters I saw, they weren't Union members at all (Sure there probably were 10 or 12 union members in the crowd of maybe 200), most in the crowd looked like they were either college students searching for a purpose in life or the rent-a-mob dope smoking types that never found one...
